Pearlmageddon was a short done by Built-D. It was a parody of Micheal Bay’s movies Pearl Harbor and Armageddon. The work I did for Pearlmageddon was very fast, mostly “studio downtime” work, I did a matte painting, a lot of “asteroid hitting” shots and a completely CG asteroid in space shot. The Asteroid shot was done start to finish in one day, and turned out really nice, so I am proud of that one the most.
